Channel Content - Setting a channel default

When you view feeds, links, and audio channels, the feeds and audio channels will open with a default feed or audio file, while the links channels open to display a default category. You can edit the default content to be displayed in the Start Page Manager.

Feeds and Audio Channels

1. Go to your start page
2. Click on the button for the channel you wish to edit.
3. Fill out the login form if you are asked to do so.
4. Click on the 'Set as Default' link next to the feed/audio link that you wish to set as the default.
5. Use the 'View Start Page' link to return to your start page and you should find that your channel will now open with the updated content by default.

Links Channels

For links channels you set the default 'Top Category' to display rather than a default link.

1. Go to your start page
2. Click on the button for the channel you wish to edit.
3. Fill out the login form if you are asked to do so.
4. Click on the 'Set as Default' link next corresponding to a link that is in the 'Top Category' that you wish to set as the default.
5. Use the 'View Start Page' link to return to your start page and you should find that your channel will now open to the selected category by default.
